Danniel has experience conducting research on the following topics: the morphosyntax of natural languages, studies on gender, sexuality, and language, and queer sociolinguistics. Some of the projects developed and supervised include investigations into the internal structure of pronouns in Portuguese, phi-features and their role in the morphosyntax of languages, and gender and sexual identity in LGBTQIA+ communities.
