Raquel Freitag

Linguist and Full Professor in the Department of Vernacular Languages, working in both the Graduate Program in Languages and the Graduate Program in Psychology at the Federal University of Sergipe. Her current research focuses on the processing of linguistic variation, examining embodied cues of effort, attention, and emotion. She also works on reproducibility studies in linguistics and experimental psychology, collaborates in an international research network investigating the processing cost of gender marking in Romance languages, and engages in science outreach and initiatives to promote research in basic education.
